Sveriges Bostadsfinansieringsaktiebolag, SBAB (publ)

In accordance with Prospectus Rule 5.2 of the Prospectus Rules made under the
Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, Sveriges
Bostadsfinansieringsaktiebolag, SBAB (publ), The Swedish Housing Finance
Corporation, submits its first Annual Information Update, following the
publication of its 2005 Annual Report and Accounts in April 2006.

This Annual Information Update refers to information that has been published or
made available to the public by Sveriges Bostadsfinansieringsaktiebolag, SBAB
(publ) during the period from 31 January 2005 to 18 May 2006 in one or more
member states of the European Economic Area and in third countries in compliance
with its obligations under Community and national laws and rules dealing with
the regulation of securities, issuers of securities and securities markets.
This Annual Information Update has been filed with the Financial Services
Authority as a result of the admission to trading of the U.S.$11,000,000,000
Euro Medium Term Note Programme of Sveriges Bostadsfinansieringsaktiebolag, SBAB
(publ) on the regulated market of the London Stock Exchange plc.

This Annual Information Update is required by and made pursuant to Prospectus
Rule 5.2 and not for any other purpose and neither Sveriges
Bostadsfinansieringsaktiebolag, SBAB (publ) nor any other person takes any
responsibility for, or makes any representation, express or implied, as to the
accuracy or completeness of the information contained herein.  This information
