                                 AGM Statement

Abingdon Capital Plc ("Abingdon" or "the Company"), owner of AIM-specialist
stockbroker Corporate Synergy Plc, announces that Chairman, Oliver Vaughan, will
make the following statement at its Annual General Meeting today:

I am pleased to report that trading at Corporate Synergy Plc remains buoyant.
There have been encouraging numbers of new business enquiries, while activity
levels are high among existing clients, both auguring well for the rest of the
year.

It is the Board's intention to continue recruiting new staff and investing in
Corporate Synergy's office facilities and systems, as we increase our presence
in the smaller quoted company market place. Currently we are the retained broker
to 35 AIM companies, serviced by 25 professional staff.

Leadcom Integrated Solutions Ltd, an international leader in the provision,
management and implementation of turnkey telecommunications solutions, was
yesterday the latest of our client companies to be admitted to AIM, having
successfully placed #12 million through Corporate Synergy.

Since the beginning of the year Corporate Synergy has raised over #38 million
for clients. This compares to #40 million for the whole of 2004. While market
sentiment will necessarily play a significant part in determining the outcome
for the Group in 2005, the Board views the future with confidence. As Corporate
Synergy develops, the range and quality of services it is increasingly providing
make it more robust and less dependent on market sentiment, particularly as we
are operating in an under-resourced sector in the quoted market place.

The change of name of the Group to Corporate Synergy Group plc, if approved at
the meeting, will enable the market more closely to align the nature and focus
of our business with the name under which the Company's shares are traded.
