                           ARC GROWTH COMPANY VCT PLC

                           Extension of C Share Offer


The directors of Arc Growth Company VCT plc today announce that the Offer dated
22 November 2007 to raise up to �7.5 million by the issue of 7.5 million C
Shares at a price of �1 per share, as set out in the prospectus dated 22
November 2007 (the 'Prospectus'), has been extended until 30 June 2008.


As of this date, the Offer has not been fully subscribed and accordingly the
directors hope that further sums will be raised as a consequence of extending
the Offer.


Arc Growth Company VCT invests in small unquoted companies with a view to
realising value via a trade sale, listing via an IPO or other suitable exit. To
date the company has invested in eighteen companies, four of which have
subsequently been admitted to AIM. As at the time of the Preliminary Results to
28 February 2007 the NAV of the company was 123.5p per share and as at 31 August
2007 the unaudited NAV was 137.5p per share. This performance ranks it No2 out
of 23 funds in the generalist VCT fund sector. (Source: Allenbridge).


In addition, the Directors are also pleased to announce that the Company has
achieved the requirements for meeting all the tests to become a qualifying
Venture Capital Trust as at 29 February 2008, including being 70% invested in
VCT-qualifying investee companies.


Since the issue of the C Issue Offer, in November 2007, the Company has invested
a further �651,000 comprising five new investee companies and follow-on
investments in two existing ones.


Full details of the VCT's investment activity will be given in the Company's
next Investment Management Statement and the audited Annual Financial Statements
for the year ended 29 February 2008, which will be published later in the year.
