The directors of Arc Growth Company VCT Plc ("Arc" or "Company") are pleased to
announce that they have today launched an offer for subscription for up to
10,000,000 new ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 100 pence per share
("Offer").

The Offer will close on 4 April 2006 and allotments of ordinary shares in
respect of valid applications under the Offer will be made monthly during the
period the Offer is open.

A copy of the prospectus relating to the Offer has been submitted to the UK
Listing Authority and will shortly be available for public inspection at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility and from the offices of the
