                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES



The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 100,000 of its own shares, being 80,000
A-shares and 20,000 B-shares for NOK 169.00 and NOK 150.00 per share
respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 743,600 of its own
shares, being 633,950 A-shares and 109,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 58,951,456.
