Publication of Amended and Restated Final Terms by Westpac Banking Corporation

The following amended and restated Final Terms are available for viewing:

Final Terms re-executed on 21 February 2008 to amend and restate the Final Terms
dated 24 January 2008 relating to GBP155,000,000 Floating Rate Instruments due
January 2010 issued by Westpac Banking Corporation (ABN 33 007 457 141) under
the Programme for the Issuance of Debt Instruments of Westpac Banking
Corporation and WestpacTrust Securities NZ Limited.

The Final Terms have been amended and restated to correct a clerical error in 
paragraph 21 of Part A.
