The Board of Merrill Lynch Asset Allocator plc (In Members' Voluntary
Liquidation) (the 'Company') announces the following:


Additional Subscription

In addition to the UK Equity Shares in Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc 
("IPST") issued to electing Merrill Lynch Asset Allocator plc shareholders, an
application for Admission has been made in respect of the 200 UK Equity Shares
subscribed for by Invesco Asset Management in connection with the establishment
of IPST. This brings the total UK Equity Shares in IPST to 44,752,594.
