The euro strengthened against most major currencies in the early European session on Monday.

The euro rose to 1.0833 against the U.S. dollar, from an early 4-day low of 1.0783.

The euro advanced to 0.7598 against the pound and 1.0984 against the Swiss franc, from early lows of 0.7553 and 1.0950, respectively.

Against the Australian, the New Zealand and the Canadian dollars, the euro edged up to 1.5534, 1.6714 and 1.5397 from early lows of 1.5373, 1.6545 and 1.5246, respectively.

If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.09 against the greenback, 0.77 against the pound, 1.10 against the franc, 1.59 against the aussie, 1.70 against the kiwi and 1.59 against the loonie.
