The Inventure Group Adds Louisiana Hot Sauce(R) To Its Poore Brothers(R) and Bob's Texas Style(R) Snack Chip Brands

PR Newswire (US)
PHOENIX, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading snack food manufacturer,
The Inventure Group® (NASDAQ:SNAK), expands its portfolio of
licensed brands today by announcing a partnership with Bruce Foods
to add its signature Original Louisiana Hot Sauce® to a new line of
Hot Fries snacks under Inventure's Poore Brothers® and Bob's Texas
Style® brands. The new ready-to-eat Hot Fries will begin appearing
in stores and vending machines next month with a suggested retail
price between $1.00 and $1.29 per three-ounce bag. The new Hot
Fries line complements the uniquely flavored kettle-cooked potato
chip products that Poore Brothers and Bob's Texas Style are best
known for; however, it's the first three-dimensional, fry-shaped
snack for both brands. As one of the first Cajun food products
distributed nationally to mainstream grocery stores, Bruce Foods'
Original Louisiana Hot Sauce has become a top seller among hot
sauce condiments and is well known for its unique flavor of aged
cayenne chili peppers. Because the branded hot sauce is frequently
paired with French fries in many parts of the country, the
partnership with Inventure Group will allow consumers to enjoy the
same not-too-mild, not-too-hot experience in a ready-to-eat snack
that is as convenient as it is economical. "When I think of a
perfectly balanced hot sauce--one with rich flavor and the right
amount of heat--like most people, I think of The Original Louisiana
Hot Sauce," said Steve Sklar, senior vice president of marketing
for The Inventure Group, Inc. "When we started toying with the idea
of introducing a Hot Fry product, we naturally thought of Louisiana
Hot Sauce. We're excited to partner with them and are confident the
new Hot Fries will be well received by consumers." In addition to
the new Hot Fries line, the Inventure Group adds two new flavors to
its existing Poore Brothers kettle-chip lineup this month,
including Mole--a sweet chocolate and spicy chili seasoned
chip--and a revamped Habanero variety which will serve up just the
right mix of heat and flavor. The Mole and Habanero kettle chips
are available in 8.5-ounce bags with a suggested retail price
between $2.99 and $3.29 each. About The Inventure Group, Inc. With
