                            Director's Shareholding

The Company announces that it has been informed that Sunfloat Shipping Limited,
a company controlled by Mr. Andrei Pannikov, a non-executive Director of the
Company, has transferred to Mr. Pannikov's sister and son a total of 230,768
ordinary shares of 20p each in the capital of the Company, representing 0.17 per
cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Both transferees have entered
into a lock-in deed with the Company and Seymour Pierce Limited pursuant to
which they have agreed not to sell the transferred ordinary shares until after
11 December 2004 except in certain circumstances.

Following the transfers, Mr Pannikov is interested in 9,904,441 Ordinary Shares,
representing 7.33 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
