WILMINGTON, Del., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DuPont has named BC Chong as vice president and general manager - DuPont Automotive OEM Coatings, succeeding Marty M. McQuade who plans to retire later this year following 31 years of service. William F. Weber, currently global business director - Ethylene Copolymers in Packaging & Industrial Polymers, will succeed Chong as vice president and general manager - DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers. Both Chong's and Weber's positions take effect July 1. In 2009, Chong, 46, will relocate to Shanghai -- a move that will further strengthen the business' market position in Asia Pacific where a significant part of the automotive industry's future growth is expected to be generated. Since joining DuPont in 1989 in Singapore, Chong has held a variety of business leadership roles in strategic planning, marketing and operations in Asia Pacific and the United States.
