Engineering group Monadelphous Group Ltd. (MND.AU) said Friday that it has secured a contract for around A$290 million from BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) for construction at its Port Hedland inner harbour project in Western Australia state.

Structural, mechanical and piping work associated with materials handling and processing facilities at the port is scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2013, the company said.
