Engineering group Monadelphous Group Ltd. (MND.AU) said Friday it has secured a A$70 million contract to provide construction, operational support and other services to the Chevron Corp.-led (CVX) Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project, offshore Australia.

Monadelphous said work will begin in the first quarter of next year, and is scheduled to finish at the end of 2013.
