Capita Group PLC (CPI.LN), a provider of business process outsourcing solutions and professional support services, said Tuesday it acquired McKeown Software Limited, trading as iSoft Business Solutions, for a consideration of GBP23 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis.

MAIN FACTS:

-iSoft Business Solutions will be known as I B Solutions after the acquisition.

-iSoft Business Solutions, a subsidiary of iSOFT Group (ISF.AU), is a provider of financial accounting and purchasing software to the public sector.

-iSoft Business Solutions made a pro forma operating profit for its financial year to June 30 of GBP3.2 million on turnover of GBP17.7 million.

-Shares of Capita Group on Monday closed at 679 pence.
