American Manufacturers Team Up to Deliver Large Safes with Strength, Security SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (AMEX:SWB), parent company of Smith & Wesson Corp., the legendary 153-year old global provider of products and services for safety, security, protection and sport, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Sentry Group to license use of the Smith & Wesson brand and logo on a new line of large capacity safes to be launched in 2006. Founded in 1930, Sentry Group is the world leader in residential and light-commercial fire-resistance and security storage containers. Sentry Group operates manufacturing facilities in Rochester, New York, and Shanghai, China. In addition, Sentry Group's satellite sales offices in the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan provide customers all over the world with fire-resistant and security storage containers. The new Smith & Wesson line of large capacity safes will complement an existing line of small safes available through the Smith & Wesson website. Sentry Group will manufacture the Smith & Wesson safes exclusively in America at its Rochester, New York facility.
