announces the implementation of a series of measures to help its
Personal and Commercial Banking clients affected by the spring
flooding in the Fort McMurray
region of Alberta.
Bank employees are currently identifying clients potentially
affected by the situation and will contact them proactively within
the next few days.
Clients affected by the flooding who have urgent needs are
invited to call Customer Service at 1-888-835-6281 or contact their
branch. However, call wait times may be longer than usual due to
the exceptional circumstances associated with the COVID-19
pandemic.
Relief measures include:
- Deferred payments on personal loans
- Deferred payments of principal and interest on personal
mortgage loans
- Personalized, case-by-case agreements for affected business
clients
