Allianz to Launch EUR1.5 Billion Buyback

Germany's Allianz SE said late Thursday that it will launch a
buyback program of up to 1.5 billion euros ($1.62 billion).
The insurer said the program will start in March and finish by
the end of the year at the latest. All repurchased shares will be
canceled, Allianz said.
