Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV said Monday that it would install solar power production units as well as charging points at its Mirafiori manufacturing hub in Turin.

The Italian-American auto maker said 120,000 square meters of photovoltaic panels would be installed on building roofs in collaboration with Edison SpA, with an additional 30,000 set up by Engie SA across 1,750 parking places.

Fiat Chrysler will also install 850 charging points at the hub, the company said.
