--Volkswagen's supervisory board is set to pick former BMW manager Markus Duesmann as the new chief executive of its luxury brand Audi, Handelsblatt reports, citing company sources.

--The board is expected to make the decision on Nov. 15, and Mr. Duesmann would start in his new role by April next year at the latest, the German daily reports.

--Audi is currently led by interim chief Bram Schot.
