Fresenius SE Buys Colombia's CediMed in EUR40 Million Investment

Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA (FRE.XE) said Monday that it has
acquired CediMed, a Colombian diagnostics group, in an investment
totaling about 40 million euros ($44.7 million).
The deal was executed through Quironsalud, Fresenius's Spanish
private hospital group, and is aimed at strengthening the company's
presence in Latin America's health-care services market.
Fresenius said it expects to close the deal in the next few
months.
