MTU Aero Engines AG (MTX.XE) is moving into Germany's benchmark DAX index, replacing steel giant Thyssenkrupp AG (TKA.XE), stock-exchange operator Deutsche Boerse AG (DB1.XE) said late Wednesday.

"Having been included in the MDAX for 14 straight years now, we are delighted to have been chosen to join the ranks of Germany's top-30 publicly listed companies," MTU Aero Engines Chief Executive Reiner Winkler said.
