Software company Skupos said Thursday it received $26 million from its latest Series B financing round.

The company, developers of a data platform for convenience retail, said the round was led by Insight Partners. Other participants included Unilever Ventures, Tao Capital and prior backers Toba Capital, Dynamo Ventures, and Loup Ventures.

Skupos said its customer base has more than doubled in recent months, from 3,000 customers to over 7,000.

Proceeds from the current round will be used for ongoing product development and strategic expansion, the company said.

Skupos said it has raised $37 million in venture capital to date.
