ATM2GO will use the TNSLink for ATMs solution to handle communications from the diverse range of locations its terminals serve which includes clubs, food outlets, festivals and sporting tournaments among others.

Jenny Marsh, Director at ATM2GO, said: “We’re enjoying an exciting period of sustained growth and expansion and needed to work with an ATM communications specialist that recognises the unique needs of our industry. We have chosen TNS because of its proven and reliable hardware, its reputation and the 24/7 support it offers. Many of our mobile terminals are deployed at weekends so as well as the ability to handle high traffic volumes we needed a network that came with round the clock support for peace of mind.”

TNSLink is a fully managed service which helps to maximise uptime and reliability, while reducing capital and operating costs. The integrated TNSOnline and TNSVision analytic tools provide crucial visibility into ATM fleet performance in near real-time.

John Tait, Managing Director of TNS’ Payments Division for the Asia Pacific region, said: “We’re delighted to be working with ATM2GO. A significant proportion of its 270-strong ATM estate covers mobile sites which frequently change. We have extensive experience managing the demanding requirements of this type of ATM, such as the critical need to be able to connect quickly and easily when sited. Often deployed at a moment’s notice, we are able to support the communications requirements instantly, including high traffic locations which can see in excess of 1,000 transactions a day.”

TNS’ extensive relationship with Australia’s telecommunications organisations means it can provide 4G service in the majority of locations. The TNSLink solution now supports more than 100,000 ATMs globally, including many hard to reach rural areas. This innovative technology can be set up with dual SIMs as well as wired with wireless backup to maximise performance. A new signal strength mobile application allows field technicians to improve the ability to deploy wireless ATMs successfully on the first attempt.

Mr Tait said: “ATM2GO needed the migration to be completed within 8 weeks and our team easily met this objective through efficient planning and deployment. We look forward to supporting ATM2GO as it continues its growth this year and into the future.”

Founded in 2011, ATM2GO’s owners have over 25 years combined experience in the ATM industry. Its fleet of user friendly retail and mobile ATMs are operated by franchisees who can offer an added level of local knowledge and on-site expertise.

TNS was founded in 1990 and has expanded to provide services in more than 60 countries across Europe, the Americas and the Asia Pacific regions. The organization has secured a strong payments heritage and is a Level 1 PCI DSS certified service provider and a global board member of the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA).
