Volkswagen Extends Contract of CEO Herbert Diess Until 2025

Volkswagen AG on Friday said that Chief Executive Officer
Herbert Diess will stay at the helm of the group until October
2025.
The German car maker said its supervisory board approved a new
service contract with a corresponding term for Mr. Diess.
"The supervisory board believes that under the leadership of Dr.
Diess conditions will be optimal for the continued successful
development of the entire company in the coming years as well,
especially in view of Strategy 2030," it said.
The strategy is set to be presented on July 13, according to
Volkswagen.
