Senior PLC said Tuesday that it has been awarded new contracts with Honda Motor Co. and Boeing Co.

The U.K. engineering company said its Senior Aerospace division has won new multi-year contracts to supply both floor beam assemblies on the Boeing 767 and quadrant assemblies for flight control systems on the Boeing 737 and Boeing 777 platforms.

"The manufacturing work covered by the multi-million-dollar contracts will take place over several years at Senior Aerospace facilities in Arlington and Monroe, Washington, U.S.," the company said.

Senior added that its Senior Flexonics division has been awarded contracts to supply Japanese automotive manufacturer Honda with exhaust flexible connectors for its 1.5 liter and 2.0 liter gasoline engines.

The company said these components will be manufactured at its facilities in India and China.

Shares at 0840 GMT were up 3.30 pence, or 2.4%, at 140.40 pence.
