Volkswagen's Cariad Selects Qualcomm for Automated Driving Solutions

Volkswagen AG on Tuesday said that its software company Cariad
will have Qualcomm Inc. supplying system-on-chips for its software
platform designed for automated driving.
The German auto maker said Qualcomm's technology will allow
Cariad to define "which high-performance computer chips are used
for its platform and match them with its own software
requirements."
Qualcomm is a California-based specialist in the semiconductor
industry.
No financial details were disclosed.
