--German car maker Volkswagen AG is in talks to acquire an autonomous-driving unit from China's Huawei Technologies Co., Manager Magazin reports, citing sources.

--Huawei's subsidiary has 700 employees and the potential price tag ranges between a low to high single-digit billion amount, Manager Magazin reports.

--The companies confirmed the talks, according to Manager Magazin. Huawei confirmed talks about a cooperation with Volkswagen to Dow Jones Newswires. Volkswagen declined to comment.
