new Travel Call Service in a special offer to Members of the US
Military. The offer, which is in the form of an advertisement on
the back cover of a special offers coupon book being distributed by
Military Charities in the greater San Diego area. The scheduled
distribution is 80,000 units, and it will be targeted primarily to
military families. The effort is being made to solve a serious
issue that exists with our servicemen and women service overseas in
that the cost for them to call home is prohibitive, and the
availability of phones for them to use is extremely limited. This
problem is so severe that in 2006, Congress passed the Call home
act of 2006 which instructed the FCC to find ways to reduce the
costs of these calls. Up until this date, no progress has been made
and the cost to call home has made communications between military
families and their loved ones overseas extremely difficult.
MSI has been developing its TravelCall product for over a year…
with the intent of freeing civilian and commercial travelers from
the high cost of making calls while overseas, and as the technology
came into focus, it became clear that there was a great opportunity
in extending the service to the military. Using Travel Call, our
customers can use an iPod/iPad/or iPhone overseas to make calls
home, by connecting to available Wi-Fi Connections, completing
their calls over MSI’s VoIP Network. What makes TravelCall unique
is that the users can ALSO receive calls or voicemails made from
the US, by callers needing no special equipment of services, and
the calls can even be made from the Public Telephone Network. While
the cost to make a credit card call from overseas using the ATT
Military Calling cards that most US Servicemen and women now use
will typically cost upwards of $1.95 per minute plus call
connection and disconnection charges, a call home using TravelCall
will cost less than 2.5 cents per minute, and the cost of monthly
service, including voicemail, voicemail via email, and the ability
to call a TravelCall customer for a US number, is just $5.00 per
month.

The underlying technology behind TravelCall is totally stable,
enterprise-class VoIP switching, and automated routing, combined
with an innovative web-based interface that allows users to
activate the service when they need it while traveling, and turn it
off when they are home. The retail version of TravelCall will be
launched in concert with travel agents, travel sites and tour
operators later this year, and will include the ability to have
interval-based us access and international access numbers. MSI is
currently working to build relationships with strategic sponsors,
and to introduce the enterprise version of the service.
