General Electric Co. and Safran SA's joint venture has booked an order for 200 LEAP-1B engines from Delta Air Lines Inc., it said Monday at the Farnborough International Air Show near London.

The engines will power a new fleet of Boeing Co. 737-10 aircraft, for which Delta announced a $13.5 billion order at Farnborough earlier on Monday.

The engine order includes extra spare engines and an option to buy up to 60 additional units, the joint venture, CFM International, said.

The order value wasn't disclosed.

General Electric and France's Safran own 50% of CFM each.
