BOC Aviation said Wednesday that it has entered into an agreement to purchase 40 new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

The new purchase agreement will takes the Singapore-based aircraft leasing company's total 737 MAX 8 order book with Boeing to 80 aircraft, BOC Aviation said in a statement.

All aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2027 and 2028, said BOC Aviation, without disclosing the value of the contract.
