FTSE 100 Seen Recovering After Losses Amid Banking-Sector Worries

0630 GMT - The FTSE 100 is expected to open higher, recovering after ending last week lower on concerns about banking-sector stress. IG futures data show London's index of blue-chip stocks opening 78 points higher after closing Friday's session down 94 points. "As we look to start a new week there is no question that investors and markets, in general, are much more concerned about the health of the banks than they were a few weeks ago, with the big question now being what happens next, given that the capacity of central banks to ride to the rescue this time is limited by still high levels of inflation," CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson writes.
