FTSE 100 Poised to Rise After Upbeat Asia Trading

0627 GMT - The FTSE 100 looks set to open 26 points higher at 7465, according to IG futures data, after mostly positive trading in Asia and an upbeat U.S. close on Friday. Markets in Australia, mainland China, Japan and South Korea gain, though Hong Kong's Hang Seng drops 1%. The Dow closed 0.2% higher Friday after upbeat U.S. nonfarm payroll data. "The Euro Area Sentix Index will be released for August and markets are looking for indications that weakness in July's leading indicators has persisted into August," Danske Bank analysts say in a note.
