ADRs End Higher, Akari Therapeutics and ArcelorMittal Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed higher on
Monday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
edged up 1.4% to 136.55. The European index moved up 1.5% to
127.69. The Asian index rose 1.2% to 164.80. The Latin American
index gained 1.3% to 191.29, while the emerging-markets index
advanced 1.5% to 286.52.
Akari Therapeutics Plc was among those whose ADRs traded
actively.
The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company plummeted 28% after
it said that it expects roughly $12.8 million in gross proceeds
following the sale of 15 million of its American depository shares
for 85 cents each.
Steelmaker ArcelorMittal SA rose 2.7% following a new joint
venture agreement with SigmaRoc PLC to create a new lime production
company.
