American Stock Exchange to Trade Options on Two New ETFs

NEW YORK, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) has launched trading in options on Thursday, August 24,
2006 on the following exchange traded funds: * VANGUARD(R) MID-CAP
GROWTH ETF (symbol: VOT) * VANGUARD(R) MID-CAP VALUE ETF (symbol:
VOE) VANGUARD(R) MID-CAP GROWTH ETF will open with strike prices of
(45 - 55 1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.
The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The
specialist will be Jane Street Specialists, LLC. The fund seeks to
track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the
investment return of mid-capitalization growth stocks. The Fund
employs a "passive management" -- or indexing-investment approach
designed to track the performance of the MSCI US Mid Cap Growth
Index, a broadly diversified index of value stocks of medium-size
U.S. companies. The Fund attempts to replicate the target index by
investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks
that make up the Index, holding each stock in approximately the
same proportion as its weighting in the Index. VANGUARD(R) MID-CAP
VALUE ETF options will open with strike prices of (45 - 55 1 pt
increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options

Susquehanna Investment Group. The fund seeks to track the
performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment
return of mid-capitalization value stocks. The Fund employs a
