The Indian rupee lost ground against the U.S. dollar in
afternoon deals on Tuesday, amid weak global cues, on mounting
fears over a possible rate hike in the U.S. next month.
The rupee depreciated to 67.75 against the greenback, a level
not seen since March 2. On the downside, 68.6 is likely seen as the
next support level for the rupee. The pair was worth 67.52 when it
ended yesterday's trading.
